Springboks live in South Africa and Namibia in savannahs and are used to almost non-stop solar radiation. In the zoo of Münster, Germany, the sun doesn’t always shine, so in the shed for the springboks a UV Master 1000W was installed to provide an optimum of UV radiation according to the recommendations of the biologists and veterinarians that look after the springboks.
